E-Learning Advocacy Course Helps Your Voice Be Heard
     Advocacy—speaking for every child with one voice—is a guiding principle of PTA. Do you know which types of advocacy are the most effective?
     PTA has an e-learning course called Effective Advocacy for Your Child. The course provides both basic and intermediate information for members who currently are working on issues that affect children, as well as for members who want to learn how to take action.
     This course focuses on:

• Defining advocacy in a personal, meaningful way,
• Defining your issue,
• Forming a chorus of voices, and
• Sustaining your vision.

Whether you speak at your child's school, before your state legislature, or in front of the United States Congress, your efforts are vitally important.
